Much like an untreated illness can lead to complex secondary problems, untreated 

emotional problems in children can lead to problems that are serious and more difficult to treat later on in life. It is important to address your child’s emotional health in order that any problems they may have can be resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.

At FCBHC, we understand the unique needs of children and adolescents and how best to effectively treat behavioral and emotional problems.  We provide an environment that is comfortable, nurturing and secure to heal and grow.

We provide specialized treatment that’s based on your child’s individual needs and specific problems. Through the use of behavioral therapy and play therapy techniques, we build a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan that treats your child as a whole, and treats their behavioral symptoms and causes. 

Masters level clinicians provide individual, family and group therapy for emotionally disturbed (ED) children and family and group therapy for severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children. 

Case Managers provide intensive family case management services to families of SED children in conjunction with skills development.

We also provide respite services and therapeutic foster homes. Parenting support programs such as “You Learn, We Learn” and other educational components are utilized to enhance the quality of life for children and their families.  Psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and medication management are available for children and their families actively participating in FCBHC services.
